Mission Critical Conferencing and Multimedia Installation for a Leading Law Firm

Background
Leading international law firm Clyde & Co were consolidating three London offices into one new Headquarters. They needed advanced conferencing facilities to enable them to work effectively with their global network of offices and clients, and high quality presentation and media distribution capabilities to offer the best possible client experience.

The Challenge
AVAT’s challenge was to design, integrate and implement a system that could bring together video conferencing, multimedia presentation capability and separate media distribution systems across a diverse range of spaces. The system need to work in a number of meeting rooms, a purpose built training centre and a large multi-purpose conference suite; each with its own demands on the capability of equipment and specific user requirements.

The Technology
The solution to Clyde & Co’s requirements was a specialised package of hardware, software and networking.   An IPTV and digital signage distribution system provided connectivity across a variety of corporate displays and presentation devices including a video wall. Tandberg HD Systems were installed to provide international video conferencing (including client content sharing) via an IP/ISDN system and advanced features such as retractable in-table microphones were used to provide consistent quality across the different rooms.

The final touch was a Crestron Control System (including remote management capability) to make the job of stage managing events, training courses and meetings as easy as possible.

The Result
Clyde & Co needed a solution that provided superior quality, user simplicity and excellent price performance.  AVAT was able to achieve all of this and deliver a significant return on investment through better communications and reduced travel requirements.
