Project Phases

Phase Description
Preliminary Design AVAT works with the client, architect, and other team members to determine the scope of the desired end solution.
Engineering and Software Development Once the client has reviewed and accepted the scope of work, AVAT creates user interface graphics, detailed engineering documents, subcontract documentation, and software development for the Top Level Integration (TLI).
Construction Phase The construction phase begins just prior to completion of the framing and basic electrical. At this point, drawings and subcontract documents are used to procure qualified subcontractors. Software development is ongoing throughout this phase.
System Test and Deployment The subsystem controllers and all electronics are installed and tested.
The individual subsystem controllers are analysed and software and system development for the TLI is completed.
Installation and Commissioning The AVAT Project Manager coordinates the installation completion of the various subsystems and validates and documents proper operation of each of the subsystems.
